DTC 118: Breakdown of Xandro's home page
Over the course of 4 months, we have redesigned the entire home page and product page. What are these changes and why? Let's find out. Absolutely little text this week.
š Nomoshkaar! (thatās Bengali version of āNamasteā) This is Shan and this is a weekly newsletter about building a business, right now a consumer brand. I have been in the 0 to 1 journey for the last two years. Year one was a failure. Year two has been relatively better. Third year is about scale. Scale has been difficult to come by š. I will figure it out though, soon.
Today, I am trying graphic writing (weird choice of words). While writing last weekās edition on conversion rate optimization, I realised it needs to be explained using pictures. So, letās get started with this. If this goes well, I will cover product page design next week.
There are a total of 9 pages to review. Letās jump straight into it. For best reading experience, read this one on desktop or zoom into each of the pictures.
#1.1 First scroll, the most important screen display
#1.2 Second banner of homepage that didnāt do well.
#2 Second scroll gives trust and purchase options.
#3 Easy payment options help drive 30% of revenue
#4 Validation and then some more validation.
#5 Last ditch effort to convince the remaining 10% users.
#6 Give social validation to the remaining users
#7 Some space for Google SEO and information
#8 Being selfish in the last scroll
This writing took effort. Feels long and not the best readability. Can possibly be broken into a few editions. I may go into depth of these in future. For today, this is it.
Thank for reading this long edition. Must have taken effort to zoom and read into each picture. I hope this was helpful and gave ideas for your next venture.
